These statistics show not only the general makeup of the average Poker Player, but also their playing habits. Due to the devastation caused by the global recession, money is a scarce commodity and people are leaving the high streets. People have less money to spend on the economy because they don’t have as much money.
People are forced to reevaluate their finances after a recession. Their little luxuries are often the first to be cut from their home budget. These luxuries include trips to the casino to enjoy the great game of Poker. This is not a desirable or free choice. It’s dictated by the economic downturn.
